  • The Future is Yesterday

So every year or so the internet decides give traditional media a little makeover and it is not probably not done with the long term beautification project. All of our traditional joys and satisfactions that we were accustom to are now just a click away. Don’t believe me then just…

  • The Message

    The Message

So when doing visualizations, you have to be mindful of what you are trying to tell your audience. Sure they may look cool to show off and get the reader’s attention, but they also have to a purpose or you will lose  your audience now and potentially for the long-term.…

  • Black Superman

    Black Superman

Up in the sky: it’s a bird, it’s a plane…no it’s change. It’s not some pale-skinned, Elvis hairdo wearing 1950’s drawn up image of what society should look up to. That is far from the case. It is an ebony-skinned, taper-fade wearing image of what is to come in America.…

  • What you Working With

Working with data is a completely different story for journalists (some pun intended). You do not have to talk to too many people to gather what you need. In addition to agencies that you could mail or go to in person to request information from, there are actually plenty of…

Do you Understand the Data that is Coming out of my Mouth?

This week’s discussion has been about understanding the data you have gathered to report it to the audience. The last few weeks have built around the look and feel of visualizations but what are they really telling us? Is it possible that the data can be faulty in in what…

Meet the Man

Get to know the talented individual behind this blog

When i was a freshman in high school I remember we hd to write our autobiography of our likes and interests. Fast forward 13 years later and I’m doing the same in the form a website for my graduate class. I could copy some of the same things butI’m not sure my professor would buy the fact that my favorite cereal is CapN Crunch or Allen Iverson is my all-time favorite athlete.

When I first started this website it was as basic as basic websites can be, but now with newer additions such as html5, css and WordPress it is looking more like 21st century than 1995 which I am very proud of. Also when I first started this site, it was intended for purposes of being in my portfolio to submit to companies. Included within this site is everything you want to know about me personally and professionally. If you are a fan of any content shown on here then feel free to check back on the site regularly as I will be updating this site even after the class is finished. So click on any of the links above and get to know me as much as you want.
