Bullheaded – Wild Card Episode

It’s the day that many Texans fans did not see coming at the beginning of this season: AFC Wild Card weekend. After the Houston Texans suffered a 27-20 loss in the season opener, the team looked completely lost. The chosen starter found himself demoted, the defense found themselves bewildered and a lot of coaching seats began to warm up. But after a 2-5 start, the Texans turned what look like to be a doomed season, into a defensive assault on their opponents and their 3rd AFC title in 5 seasons. now their next step is a rematch with a Chiefs team who has been singing the same song.

After the Chiefs beat the Texans they went on an even sour note. They started out 1-5 and lost their star running back, Jamaal Charles, just like Houston lost RB Arian Foster. But they relied on the play of their stout defense and game-management QB play, which Houston has also done to an extent. The difference is the Texans have used 4 different starting quarterbacks while the Chiefs has maintained with QB Alex Smith throughout the year. They maintained their way into a 10 game win streak which has made them one of the hottest teams in the league going into the postseason.

Now that both teams have found their way into the playoffs, it will be a great matchup of two squads who have been remixed into potential Super Bowl contenders. The Chiefs and Texans both have incredible defensive units and their offenses have not been disastrous due to difficulties of injuries. The Texans are coming into this game with a legit shot to win. Watch the video below to see how they can pull off this win and live another week in the postseason.
