Devin Booker Looking for Suns Fan that Fought Nuggets Fan

By Brandon Simmons

The Phoenix Suns swept the Denver Nuggets Sunday, making their way to the Conference Finals, and one fan, in particular, will be basking in the success from his own contributions.  The Suns fan that fought 2 Nuggets fans is being sought by Suns guard Devin Booker. Monday, Booker sent this tweet out which had social media go crazy.

According to KDVR, towards the end of Game 3 of the series, the 2 Nuggets fans were leaving when the Suns fan waved bye to them, yelling out the phrase, “Suns in 4!” One of the Nuggets fans turned around and poured a beer on the head of the Nuggets fan and he responded by grabbing the pourer and drowned him with punches. The video, which was taken by Twitter user, @cbj3000, quickly went viral online and even made its way to the news.

At this time, this fan has cemented himself in Suns’ basketball history. He pulled that off in the Nuggets’ arena, then made that bold prediction, which turned out to be true. Things like this rarely go right for guys in his situation. Whatever reward is coming his way he deserves it. It could be courtside seats, it could be a statue with “Suns in 4!” etched across it. Realistically, some people might point this out as hypocritical. It wasn’t that long ago that players were criticizing how some of the fans were acting at these games (i.e. Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving getting hit with a water bottle). The thing that would really justify this is the fact the Suns fan was attacked first. People talk shit to each other all the time, but once it gets physical, people are going to roll with the person who hit first. As for Phoenix, they’re taking a break from their playoff fight as they await the winner from the Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers series.
