It’s Titans week in Texans Nation and the tempers should be through the roof right now. Last Sunday, the team blew a chance to beat the New England Patriots, despite a solid performance from our rookie quarterback and defensive line. A missed first down attempt and poo clock management led to our demise, which could’ve boosted the confidence of our team heading into a game with a very hated opponent. Many of the Texans current fan base are well aware of the emotional history of the Titans, formerly known as the Houston Oilers. But even after 20 years of them being away from the city, the pain of leaving has manifested into a heated rivalry since the city of Houston returned to the NFL. And even after 20 years, the hatred is going to be something for rookie Deshaun Watson to learn in only a few days.
